Welcome to Verbatimly, a product of Tech von Chu, located at Kolpingstr. 83, 53359 Rheinbach, Germany. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Service, including our website, platform, and any related features.
1. Use of the Service
- Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. By using Verbatimly, you confirm that you are legally eligible to enter into these Terms.
- Account Registration: You must create an account using a valid email and password combination. Email verification is required. Account sharing is not allowed.
- Plans and Limitations: Free Plan includes 15 minutes/month. Paid subscriptions available. Refunds possible when requested within 15 days and usage is within free monthly plan quota limits.
2. User Content
- Uploads and Processing: You can upload audio or video files or record directly. Files and transcripts are stored securely on third-party servers.
- Data Usage: We do not use your data for training AI. We rely on services like Lemonfox AI and OpenAI.
- Data Retention: Files are retained until deleted by the user. Metadata may be kept for audit and service integrity.
3. Acceptable Use
The upload of illegal content is highly prohibited. Accounts violating these rules may be suspended and reported to authorities.
4. Payments & Refunds
We use Stripe for payment. Subscriptions auto-renew. Refunds are possible within 15 days when usage is within free plan quota.
5. Privacy & Security
All data is transmitted securely and stored on our EU-based servers through our hosting provider (Cloudflare). Users can delete files and associated transcripts via UI. To permanently delete your account, email support for full deletion.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of your content. We retain IP rights to the platform. Transcripts may be used commercially by you.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service and the materials provided through the Service are available to you on an ‘as is’ basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement of intellectual property rights.
Consequential Damages
We, along with our suppliers, shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service;
- any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
- any content obtained from the Service;
- unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.
Specifically, “consequential loss” encompasses any form of indirect loss, including without limitation loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity, or anticipated savings, whether arising under statute, contract, tort (including negligence), indemnity, or otherwise.

Continued use implies acceptance of new terms. Do not use the service if you do not agree with the updated terms. Do check this page often to stay updated.
